PoE Switch · Plug and Play
No configuration, no passwords, no management overhead — smart unmanaged PoE switches with hardware function switches for long-distance mode, VLAN isolation and the PoE watchdog.

An unmanaged PoE switch is the right tool when the network is fixed and nobody will ever log into it: small camera systems, shop and restaurant networks, home and small-office installations. ONV's unmanaged and smart lines run from 4 to 28 ports, in 10/100M and gigabit versions, with built-in power supplies and desktop or wall-mount bodies.
Unmanaged here does not mean featureless. The smart models carry a hardware function switch: position E enables 250-metre long-distance transmission with port VLAN isolation, and position D enables the PoE watchdog, which monitors each powered port and restarts a device that stops communicating. These are set once with a fingertip at installation — no interface, no firmware, no training.

Choose unmanaged when three conditions hold: the topology will not change, no VLAN segmentation is required, and nobody needs remote visibility. The moment any of these fails — a second tenant, a compliance audit, a maintenance contract — a managed model is the cheaper long-term answer. The managed vs unmanaged guide works through the trade-off in detail.
Retail, restaurants, small offices, homes, parking booths and small warehouses — fixed camera counts, no IT staff, and a premium on zero-maintenance operation.
It watches the data activity of each powered port. If a camera or access point stops communicating, the switch cuts and restores that port's PoE power, rebooting the device automatically. On the smart models it is enabled with the D position of the function switch.
They cannot be configured with VLANs, but the smart models' E mode applies a fixed port isolation: downlink ports cannot talk to each other, only to the uplink — which covers the most common small-network segmentation need.
